Colton Kwong Shoes for Less

My friend has a daughter ("Jane") that is the same age as my daughter. Over the last few months, Jane has been increasingly ugly to my daughter. She has said some horrible things that I have had to coach my daughter about after Jane left. I tried sitting the two of them down and also gently mentioning some things to my friend that had happened. My friend has been having a lot of trouble with Jane lately and would just roll her eyes when I would mention things to her. A couple of weeks ago was the last straw and I told my friend everything that has been going on. I told her how I was worried about the impact Jane's comments were having on my daughters self-esteem. There is only so much coaching and listening on my end I can do, the words still hurt and the damage is done but the time I talk to my daughter.

Now my friendship is blown with my friend because Jane conveniently forgot she said most of this stuff. Should I have kept my mouth shut? What would you have done?
